Heroes: Portraits in Watercolor

This Marine is my hero.

When someone chooses to serve in areas where the potential for the ultimate sacrifice is a possibility, they become somehow more noble in our eyes. When it's a family member, that sacrifice becomes personal.

Heroes come in all shapes and sizes. They serve as firefighters, law enforcement officers, coaches, teachers, parents, soldiers, Marines, athletes. They're male and female. Most of our heroes are unsung except by us who know them.

Who's your hero?

What a better way to honor their service and effort than with a specially-commissioned portrait!

Commission an original watercolor portrait of your hero like the one shown here. You supply photos and a few descriptive words of nicknames, significant events, etc. and I'll take it from there.

Portraits are created in watercolor, gouache and colored pencil on 100% cotton paper.

Prices: (requires 50% down, balance upon completion)

16" x 20" on paper: $800.00 plus applicable sales tax & shipping
18" x 24" on paper: $1,000.00 plus applicable sales tax & shipping

Artwork will be signed, shipped flat and unframed.

Five percent (5%) of proceeds from these commissions will be given to the IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America), which helps returning veterans transition into civilian life.
